Rivers ADC  Dismisses Division Claims, Declares Unity Under Amaechi

‎Leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State has reaffirmed the unity of the party, insisting that it remains cohesive and firmly aligned under the leadership of former governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

‎The party dismissed insinuations of internal division, stating that all stakeholders, leaders, and members are working in harmony with a shared commitment to strengthening the ADC and advancing its ideals across the state.

‎The party’s position was contained in a statement issued by State Chairman, Chief Ambassador Leader Sampson.

‎According to the statement, the state chapter will proceed with its scheduled congresses and other statutory activities in line with directives from the party’s national leadership.

‎“The leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State wishes to unequivocally affirm that the party remains one, united, and firmly aligned under the leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

‎“We reiterate that there is no division within the party structure in Rivers State. All stakeholders, leaders, and members are working in harmony with a shared commitment to strengthening the party and advancing its ideals across the state.”

‎The ADC further disclosed that it has complied with all legal and procedural requirements, including formally notifying the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) within the stipulated 21-day notice period as required by law.

‎Reaffirming its commitment to internal democracy, transparency, and due process, the party assured members and the general public that all activities would be conducted in a peaceful, orderly, and credible manner.

‎“In line with directives issued by the National leadership of our great party, the Rivers State chapter of the ADC will proceed with its scheduled Congresses and other statutory party activities.

‎“We have duly complied with all legal and procedural requirements, including formally notifying the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) within the stipulated 21-day notice period as required by law.”

‎The ADC urged its members to remain united and focused as it intensifies efforts to build a stronger and more vibrant political platform in Rivers State under the leadership of Senator David Mark.

‎“The ADC in Rivers State remains committed to internal democracy, transparency, and due process. We assure our members and the general public that all activities will be conducted in a peaceful, orderly, and credible manner.

‎“We call on all party faithful to remain steadfast, united, and focused as we continue to build a stronger and more vibrant ADC in Rivers State under the leadership of Sen. David Mark.”
