Ahead of the new season, Barcelona has confirmed that they have struck a deal with Valencia for Portugal international, Andre Gomes.
The fee for the 22-year-old is reported to be around £41.7m.
Gomes was attracting attention from Real Madrid and Manchester United before Barca have clinched his signature.
“Agreement with Valencia for Andre Gomes. The player will both sign and be presented as a new Barcelona player next week,” the club tweeted.
The former Benfica man is expected to sign a five-year deal at the Spanish club.
