President Muhammadu Buhari has administered oaths of office on four special advisers and one permanent secretary today (Wednesday) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The ceremony took place shortly before the commencement of a meeting of the Federal Executive Council presided over by the president.
The newly inaugurated SA’s included the Special Adviser on Social Investment, Mrs. Maryam Uwais; Special Adviser on Political Matter, Senator Babafemi Ojudu; Special Adviser on Economic Matters, Dr. Adeyemi Dipeolu; Special Adviser on Planning, Tijani Abdullahi; and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Rafiu Enikanolaye.
Uwais, Ojudu and Dipeolu were deployed in the Office of the Vice President, while Abdullahi was deployed in the Ministry of Budget and National Planning.
Thje event was witnessed by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, most ministers; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Babachir Lawal; Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita; some permanent secretaries, presidential aides and other top government officials.
The brief ceremony was also witnessed by some members of the immediate families of the appointees.
Recall that the four special advisers were among the 15 approved for Buhari by the National Assembly last year.
