Iheanacho overtakes Mikel as highest-paid Nigerian in Premier League

By signing a new deal with Manchester City, Kelechi Iheanacho, is now the highest-earning Nigerian player in the Premier League.

The new deal is worth £85,000-per-week.

Iheanacho who signed a new two-year contract extension to stay at the Etihad until 2021, admitted the new deal will “change the lives of his family”.

The youngster  is now earning more than Super Eagles captain, Mikel John Obi, who gets £70,000 a week at Chelsea followed by Victor Moses who gets £50,000 a week at Stamford Bridge.
