PDP Reps give Buhari quit notice

Members of the House of Representatives elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Thursday said the victory of Ahmed Makarfi at the Supreme Court is an indication that President Muhammadu Buhari should be prepared to quit Aso Rock in 2019.

Rising from an emergency meeting in Abuja, the PDP Reps declared that there is ‘vacancy’ in Aso Rock ahead of 2019.

A member of the House, Leo Ogor revealed this while addressing journalists in Abuja on the struggles the PDP passed through in the course of ‎the legal battles that resulted in the victory at the supreme court.

He said the All Progressives Congress-led administration has failed to keep its promise, adding that the ruling party has impoverish Nigerians who now “live in hunger and insecurity.”

Ogor said the APC should see the PDP’s legal victory at the apex court as a “quit notice towards 2019.”

“We believe that there’s vacancy in Aso Rock. APC should start packing their things from Aso Rock because PDP will take over in 2019,” Ogor said.
