Nollywood star and politician, Yul Edochie has reacted to reports of backstabbing and lack of genuine love in the Nigerian movie industry.
Edochie, in a post on his verified Twitter page, advised his colleagues not to wait for anyone to love them in the movie industry, but rather love and help themselves.
The actor turned politician wrote,: “They say there’s no love in Nollywood, I laugh.
“Brethren there’s no love anywhere, not only in Nollywood.
“The world is tough, it’s a jungle out here. My advice: Don’t wait for anyone to love you, love yourself, help yourself.
“Work hard, pray and do what’s right in the sight of God.”
This is coming hours after popular comedian, Ayo Makun revealed that Nollywood is a backstabbing community, stating all levels of flaws in the industry.
According to him, enmity thrives in Nollywood and most actors live a fake life on Instagram.
