Gambo Mohammed discharged from hospital

Kano Pillars star striker, Gambo Mohammed, has been discharged from the Braithwaite Memorial Specialist Hospital in Port Harcourt today.

The forward suffered a rupture of the tympanic membrane in a Nigeria Professional Football League clash against Rivers United last weekend in Port Harcourt.

Pillars lost the game by a lone goal.

Gambo came off worse, after a clash of heads with Rivers United’s Wilson Andoh in the eighth minute at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium and was rushed to the hospital.

He has now been given the green light to return home and was accompanied to the Port Harcourt International airport by club’s team manager Salisu Yaro.

Kano Pillars host Shooting Stars on Sunday at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.
