Lagos losses former commissioner

Lagos State has lost a former commissioner. He is Ademola Adeniji Adele.

He died early hours of Thursday in India family sources confirmed.

The source say that the former Commissioner of Sports during the government of Babatunde Raji Fashola died at the age of 60 after a successful surgery.

The Lagos APC staunch man was said to have travelled to India early this year because
of an undisclosed ailment.

Before his death, the ex-commissioner had relocated from his FESTAC residence to
Badagry where he rears cattle.

Adele will be flown from India to Nigeria on Friday.

He will be buried on Saturday at his residence in FESTAC, Lagos state.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation while reacting to the death of Adele said it was shocked at his demise.

Technical Committee boss of NFF, Chris Green said on Thursday morning that
Adele will be remembered for his giant strides.
