Oversea training of 200 youths will promote ties with Israel – RSG

Deputy governor of Rivers State, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo has said that the award of oversea skill acquisition to 200 indigent persons in the state is intend to promote technological and cultural ties with Israel, create opportunities for capacity development, Job creation and empowerment of youths in line with the New Rivers Vision of the present administration.

The Deputy Governor said the programme is expected to make participants employable and employers of labour, noting that the rate of crime in the society has a correlation with idleness and poverty.

She therefore enjoined the would be beneficiaries of the vocational skills training programme to add value to their lives by availing themselves of the opportunity to build their capacity.
