NFF breaks record, adopts FIFA online players transfer system

By: Felix Ikpotor

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), became the first member association (MA) in Africa, to adopt the FIFA TMS Domestic Transfer Matching System (DTMS) for transfer of players in the league.

This feat was facilitated by efforts of the League Management Company (LMC).

The DTMS online platform would make it possible for the NFF and NPFL, to manage local and international transfers via one system.

This system is available on the International Transfer Matching System (ITMS) and accessible to all 211 association members of FIFA. Over 6,500 clubs around the world can also use it for cross-border transfers.

The system was developed by FIFA after its members and clubs demanded for a domestic transfer system based on ITMS.
