RSG 2016 staff biometric exercise ends on Friday

The Rivers State Government has declared that the 2016 biometric exercise for mainstream civil service ends on Friday, July 29, 2016.

A statement by  William Idoniboye, Senior Special Assistant (ICT) to the governor of Rivers State declared that, “any Main Stream Civil Servant who has not enrolled, missed their enrolment date, or any other issues strictly relating to not having undergone Biometric Verification are advised to do so with immediate effect on the closing date being Friday July 29, 2016.”

The statement added: “As per His Excellency’s directive, the Rivers State Government ICT Department has conducted and is hereby concluding the RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT 2016 BIOMETRIC EXERCISE for Main Stream Civil Service.

“The Exercise commenced on Friday April 15, 2016 and ends on Friday July 29, 2016.”

It added that all Mainstream Staff of the Rivers State Government, including Ministries, Departments, Parastatals, Boards, UBE and SSSSB have been processed.

“With this notice we are informing the General Public and specifically all Main Stream Civil Servants, that the Biometric Exercise for Rivers State Main Stream Civil Service is hereby ending”, the statement  added.
