A tanker explosion has killed one person in Benin City, capital of Edo State.
The incident occurred on Wednesday when a tanker laden with fuel exploded at Upper Mission junction on the Benin-Auchi expressway in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of the state.
Reports say the explosion, which was said to have occurred at about 7:00am, also left about four persons injured.
We equally learnt that the fire destroyed property worth millions of naira in the area.
