Rivers NIPR holds conference

 Rivers State chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations will on Thursday July 11, 2019 hold her 2019 Conference/Annual General Meeting (AGM) .

The conference is to be chaired by Chief Emmanuel Ogidi, Vice Chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South South.

The event which has as its theme: “Post Election Peace Building, The role of Public Relations” will have the state governor,  Chief  Nyesom Ezenwo Wike as Special Guest of Honour while Professor Godwin Okon of the department of Mass Communication, Rivers State University, Nkpolu Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt is the Keynote Speaker.

A statement signed by Chairman of the 2019 Conference/Annual General Meeting Planning Committee, Ayeowueka Soye Opuiyo stated that the event will hold at Lasien Pavillion Royal, 22 Forces Avenue, Old GRA, Port Harcourt by 10:00am.

It further stated that it will have Clarice Azuatalam, Barrister Karibi George and Young Ayotamuno, State Director, National Orientation Agency as discussants.

The statement enjoined media practitioners, security, professionals, NGOs, Civil Societies, faith based organizations, state and local government information officers, stakeholders and general public to attend.

“We look forward to your participation”, it added.
