By: Felix Ikpotor

Five days after 14 staffers of Nestoil Plc were abducted by yet to be identified gunmen in Ogba Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Rivers State, there whereabouts is still unknown.

The workers were seized last Friday morning on their way to work at a spot close to Omoku.

The workers were kidnapped last Friday while returning from a site in the area.

Police spokesman in the state, DSP, Omoni Nnamdi confirmed to newsmen that efforts were still on to rescue the hostages, but that they are yet to establish contact with their captors.

Omoni appealed to the public to support the Police with information, as more security men had been drafted to comb areas suspected to be the hideout of the kidnappers.
