A dead body was found floating in Aba in Abia State after a heavy downpour yesterday.
The corpse was found floating around the popular Ariaria International Market in the area.
The male corpse was removed from the water by traders in the market and later taken to a nearby police station.
It was however not clear whether the dead man had died before the rain started or he was washed-off by the rain.
At the time of this report, the identity of the deceased could not be ascertain as nobody has come to identify him.
