The All Progressives Congress APC is set to unveil a former Minister of Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi as its substantive National Publicity Secretary.
Abdullahi, from Kwara state and an ally of Senate President Bukola Saraki and former vice president, Atiku Abubakar served as minister under the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan is set to replace Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Vanguard authoritatively reports.
The appointment would be announced before the end of the week after a meeting of the National Working Committee NWC of the party expected to hold before Wednesday, a source told Vanguard.
“I can tell you that everything is set. The appointment could be announced either Tuesday or Wednesday”, said a high-ranking party source who is privy to the plan, but who did not want his name in print because he was not authorised to speak publicly on the matter.
