Tragedy stroke yesterday at Kono a community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State as two persons, Christian Sirawoo and Temple Oko were killed and their heads taken away by a suspected cult members.
The ugly incident we gathered occurred by 10pm yesterday.
The suspected cultists also injured two persons, Thompson Oko and Patason.
Meanwhile, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Khana, Mr. Baridah Nsaanee has confirmed the incident.
He urged security agencies in d area to investigate and bring the culprits to book and also appealed to people of the area to remain calm and allow d police to investigate the matter.
The CTC boss further warned cultists in d area that his administration will not tolerate insecurity and criminality.
