Estranged husband to Nollywood Actress, Mercy Aigbe, Lanre Gentry has publicly apologized to her and also begging for reunion.
Gentry and Mercy parted ways after reports of alleged battering of his wife emerged in social media a few months ago.
Since then, there has been verbal attack between the couple with Mercy said to be attending widows’ programs to show she has lost her husband.
Gentry in the other hand, had blasted the Lagos State government for making his ex-wife Ambassador for Widows.
The actress also shared photos of another woman abused by her husband, in a recent post on Instagram, and asked women not to hesitate to runaway from such union.
But Gentry took to his Instagram page Friday morning, to beg his ex-wife openly.
He wrote, “For peace to reign, I’m going to bury all hatches and break the bone of contention between myself and Mercy Aigbe Gentry.
“I’m sorry to those I’ve hurt with my actions and comments/words.
“Mercy you claim that I’m begging you behind curtains, Ok, here I am begging you openly. I’m sorry!
He added that:“This drama is exhausting and I’m done with it all.”
“Despite all that have been happening; I don’t love you less. I still see you as the mother of my children and I want to give you the respect to that regard.”
