N5.3bn fraud: Court orders arrest of ex-Enugu governor

Reports say a  Federal High Court sitting  in Lagos, Monday,  has issued an arrest warrant against a former Governor of Enugu State, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, who was charged with an alleged fraud of N5.3bn.

Justice Chuka Obiozor issued the bench warrant against the ex-governor over failure to appear in court  for his scheduled re-arraignment.

The judge held that counsel to Nnamani failed to give a justified reason over his client’s absence from court.
