Secondus’ emergence will ensure stronger, greater PDP — Obuah

Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Bro Felix Obuah has said the emergence of Prince Uche Secondus as the national chairman of PDP would make PDP stronger and better positioned for victory in 2019.

Obuah in a congratulatory statement signed by his spokesman, Jerry Needam, described Prince Secondus as eminently qualified for the enormous responsibility having served the party in various capacities which imbued him with the requisite experience and skills for the task.

Obuah stated that as a former state chairman, national organizing secretary and acting national chairman of the party, Secondus knows the areas of strength and challenges of the party, adding that he would fashion out new policy direction for the PDP.

He said: “I make no doubt about the ability and capabilities of our new national chairman and his executive members not only because of their intimidating experiential credentials but also, they are some of the strongest and most dependable democrats of Nigeria’s contemporary politics and will surely bring their wealth of experience to bear in our new PDP national leadership.’’
