2019 Presidency: Why PDP may not give ticket to Atiku – APC chieftain

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Okwagbe, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State Chief  Ovo Ofigo on Wednesday said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, may not give its Presidential ticket to former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku for allegedly placing a curse on the party and its agents for the alleged injustice meted on him.

Ofigo made the assertion while chatting with selected journalists at the Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Warri Correspondents’ Chapel.

The APC chieftain stated that Atiku Abubakar made the “biggest blunder” by dumping the APC for the PDP.

Ofigo who is also the National Coordinator of Buhari Solidarity Movement, BSM, said the former VP should have remembered former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC, Mr. Nuhu Ribadu who was deceived into joining the party but was rubbished.

He further described the PDP as a party that does not believe in the right thing, maintaining that,”It is not going to be Atiku. I think it is suicidal.”

“Atiku rushed too early to make that mistake. That’s why one Kwankwaso is being careful”.
