Rivers gov commiserates with Dickson on mother’s demise

Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers has commiserated with his Bayelsa State counterpart, Mr Seriake Dickson over the demise of his mother, Mrs Goldcoast Dickson.

Wike said this in a statement in Port Harcourt on Friday signed by his Special Assistant on Electronic media, Mr Simeon Nwakaudu.

He said that the news of the death of the mother of the Bayelsa Governor came to him as a shock.

Wike noted that the deceased spent her lifetime in making positive contributions to the development of the society.

Rivers governor stated that her contributions to the society include the raising of worthy children like the Bayelsa Governor, who had been contributing to the nation transformation and prayed God to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
