Rivers: Obuah accuses Ojukaye of plots to bomb his properties

Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, Bro. Felix Obuah has raised the alarm over what he termed plots by some faceless political detractors suspected to be members of the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State under the factional leadership of Ojukaye Flag Amachree to dynamite his spotted investments around the Go-Round Community in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of the State have been uncovered.

The State PDP chair who raised the alarm in a statement by his media aide Jerry Needam alleged that first in the list of targets of the plotters is the multi-billion naira Krisdera Hotels, located in Omoku.

According to the statement, information available also reveals a conspiracy between some paid security agents to provide the necessary cover while they carry out the attack.

The statement added that: “Mercenaries from among notorious gangsters operating in various parts of the State and outside have also been contracted and paid heavily for the destruction exercise, the statement also noted”.

“The cat, according to the State PDP chairman was however, let out of the bag when the masterminds whose names are yet to be made public approached one of the hatchet men for the sinister job, not knowing that he had already withdrawn from such evil and who pensively divulged all the plans with striking evidence and particulars of the plotters”.

He also said the plotters  planned to fly a kite after carrying out the attack that the unholy mission was masterminded by aggrieved ‘boys’ of  Obuah in protest to using and dumping them.

Recall that Obuah has consistently denied having any link with any ‘boys’ or by whatever name called and challenged anybody with evidence of his relationship with any criminal gang to come up with such evidence.

The statement however, warn all those behind the plot and those already consulted and contracted for its execution to desist forthwith, and give peace a chance as the repercussion of such attempt may be colossal and too hot for comfort for all, irrespective of all false assurances to provide cover to the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, Chris Finebone, the spokesman of the Ojukaye Flag-Amachree led APC has dismissed the allegation, describing it as typical of the PDP.

Finebone in a statement said it was necessary to alert the security agencies of an impending crisis in the PDP.
