Rivers: Eze Robinson passes on

The King of Ekpeye Kingdom in Rivers State, His Majesty, Eze Robinson O. Robinson, Ekpeye Logbo II  has been confirmed dead.

Robinson was a Retired Flight Lieutenant and the pioneer chairman, Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers.

Son of the late monarch, Prince Robert Robinson, announced  the passage of his father  to newsmen yesterday in Port Harcourt.

He said, “His Imperial Majesty, Eze Robinson, the Ekpeye Logbo of Ekpeye land has transitioned to glory after a protracted illness. As customs demand, we have officially informed the family of Ishikoloko of Odiereke-Ubie and Ekpeye council of traditional rulers and chiefs.”

He did not announce any date for the burial of the late first class monarch.
