The Degema Legislative Assembly has commiserated with the Vice Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, Mrs ThankGod Inume, over the demise of her husband, Hon.ThankGod Inume.
Mr. Inume, who until his death was the Degema Coordinator of the Wike Solidarity Movement (WSM), was a former Leader of the Degema Legislative Assembly, who represented Ward 13 in Usokun.
A statement by Daerefa-a Christopher Braide, Press Secretary, Degema Legislative Assembly said the Assembly, during a condolence visit to the residence of their former colleague on Tuesday, enjoined the widow of the deceased and serving Vice Chairman of the LGA to take solace in God Almighty who is all-knowing.
The lawmakers expressed shock at the sudden death of the politician, whom they described as a hardworking and committed party man, whose contributions would be sorely missed.
Addressing the family, Leader of the Degema Legislative Assembly, Hon. Dennis Philip Fayeofori, who led the delegation, noted that the legislative arm, which the deceased served as Leader, would organize a valedictory session in his honour during his funeral rites.
