Buhari recognizes Sara-Igbe as NYCN President.

President Mohammadu Buhari has recognized Ambassador Sukubo Sara-Igbe as president of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).

The recognition was contained in a circular issued by the Minister of Youths, Sunday Dare.

Dare said the development followed series of engagements with the factional presidents of the body and other stakeholders who all agreed that Sukubo Sara –Igbe should lead the NYCN.

He said the comprehensive list of NYCN EXCO would be released in due course.

It could be recalled that the youth body had been in series of crisis for almost two years following a disputed election which held simultaneously at the different parts of the country with different persons emerging as factional presidents.
