Statewide sanitation to hold without restriction in Rivers

The monthly statewide sanitation exercise in Rivers State will hold this Saturday without restriction of human and vehicular movements.

This was disclosed by the Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro. Felix Obuah.

The RIWAMA boss urged residents and those doing business in the State to ensure that their surroundings are clean and all water channels emptied for free flow of water.

Obuah in a statement by his media, Jerry Needam also advised residents and all those doing business in the State to maintain good sanitary habit always by cleaning their surroundings and dumping wastes at RIWAMA approved receptacles only; and at the approved dumping hours of 6pm to 12mid night, daily.

While commending the State Governor, Nyesom Wike for his support in ensuring a clean and healthy state, he also urged Rivers people to support government’s vision of a safe and clean environment.
