RIWAMA sacks more service providers

Barely a day after  the Sole Administrator,  Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro. Felix Obuah announced the termination of contract of two service providers for alleged negligence, he  has again, approved the immediate termination of the services of the following Service Providers, working with the Agency for non-performance.

They include: FIRST DID 7 SONS LIMITED – covering  Ada-George from Ikwerre Road to Gateway Church by Elioparanwo and PARTICULAR INTERNATIONAL VENTURE LIMITED – covering Rumuokwuta Junction including Gas to Rumuola junction to Park Hotel along Aba Road

Bro. Obuah who announced the immediate disengagement of the above service providers in a statement y his media aide Jerry Needam said their disengagement became necessary following their inability to keep their zones clean in spite of repeated warnings and appeals by the Agency, describing their actions as sabotage, reckless and failing in their duties.

The Sole Administrator assured that the measure would serve as a deterrent to other recalcitrant Service Providers who do not want to take their jobs seriously.

The Sole Administrator also vowed that the agency would no longer spare any service provider who is not ready to work and keep their areas clean on daily basis.

Similarly, Bro Felix Obuah has warned shop owners and landlords who either dump or allow wastes to be dumped in front of their shops or houses to desist forthwith or risked being arrested, if wastes are found in front of any shop or house within Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital and its environs, with effect from the date of this announcement.
