Abe salutes Mpigi at 60

Former representative of Rivers South-East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, has congratulated his successor, Senator Barinaadaa  Mpigi on his sixtieth, diamond birthday celebration.

Abe, in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Parry Saroh Benson described Senator Mpigi as an astute politician with a track record of performance in the service of his people.

He said the Senator’s commitment to public service transcends Ogoni land to Rivers State at large and commended him for his visible efforts to improve the quality of life of the people of his constituency.

“Barry is an astute politician, a man of the people who has done a lot to promote unity and Development in Ogoniland and throughout the South-East Senatorial District.

Today, as you celebrate, I join your family, friends, political associates and the good people of Rivers South-East Senatorial District to wish you a birthday full of peace, joy, good health and most of all, God’s guidance and protection.

I wish you many more years of good health and service to mankind”.
