Rivers: Hoodlums injure, rob man in Bori

A man simply identified as Sylvester Prince is receiving treatment after he was reportedly attacked by hoodlums at the popular Bori Market in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State .

According to the victim who is a trader in the market, the hoodlums also made away with his mobile phone and the sum of N100,000.

The incident happened on Saturday afternoon, it was learnt.

Sylvester Prince, in an interview, appealed to the new council boss to immediately swing into action and investigate the incident as well as set up modalities to strengthen policing in the area before it degenerates again.

When contacted, spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, SP Nnamdi Omoni, said he has not been briefed about the incident.
