Hushpuppi: US court orders arrests of Abba Kyari

Reports say a United States’ Court has issued a warrant of arrest for a Deputy Police Commissioner in Nigeria, Abba Kyari.

Otis Wright of the States District Court for the Central District of California reportedly ordered the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to arrest and detain the DCP who was accused of having dealings with embattled Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi.

According to the report, the development was contained in a court document dated July 26.

Earlier, the United States Department of Justice had  stated that an ongoing investigation revealed that Hushpuppi allegedly bribed Kyari to arrest one Mr Kelly Chibuzo Vincent, one of his accomplices in Nigeria.

But reacting to  the allegations, Mr Kyari in a statement denied receiving a bribe from Hushpuppi.
