Rivers 2023: Why we want Abe to contest governorship-RVF

By: Felix Ikpotor

Rivers Voice of Freedom, a political pressure group in the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives  Congress loyal to Senator Magnus Ngei Abe has reiterated why they want their principal to contest for the governorship of Rivers State in 2023.

The group in a statement by its president-general, Comrade Dominic Dumekpigi said the state deserves a purposeful leadership capable of transforming the fortunes of the people which their principal offers.

The statement reads:

“From our interactions and  sampled opinions,  we have come to a realization which has propelled the optimism which has long been in us , one which had and still drives our resolve in calling on our people  to support one of our best in the person of Senator Magnus Ngei Abe (Mene Suanu 1 of Ogoni Land)”.

“To achieve this, we are optimistic that it is by giving the necessary support to attain the apogee of governance in Rivers State, that a magnificent transformation of  the State will be attained.

“When we look back at his time spent in the corridors of power, we stand to be corrected that his smooth and easy manner of achieving developments is traceable down to his natural human personality”.

“Considering his milestone of undeniable  and unchallenged records of achievements, it is expedient to say Chief Sen. Abe has done very well as a trusted leader with great cerebral abilities,  political acumen and unbroken records in service delivery”.

The records being there for clarity from his time as “Senator of the Rivers Southeast District,

are summarised in the legislative history of the district as one in which visible projects in the Seven (7) Local Governments of the Senatorial district were vigorously carried out”.

It added: “Abe will improve the living standard of the people as a man of faith and fact. He’s a known man of faith because he first sees himself as a man that can handle whatever life brings. He has what it takes to navigate the future by his balance thoughts, optimism and realism, intuition and efficiency in planning”.

RVF maintained that, “If given all the needed support and encouragement  Senator Magnus Ngei Abe will do better in all ramifications. Our dear State will experience industrial revolution and stability in governance”.
