Apc Convention: Boms congratulates winners, calls for corporation with new leadership

By: Felix Ikpotor

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Worgu Boms has felicitated with winners in the just concluded National Convention of the party.

Boms who contested for the position of South South Vice Chairman of the party but lost to Victor Giadom also called on all party faithful to cooperate with the new leadership of the party to achieve the task ahead.

The former Rivers State attorney general in a statement he personally signed urged members to come together to build a party that can work for all of them.

The statement reads:

“I hereby express my honest-hearted appreciation to all for your show of love and absolute support for my political choices, especially my putting myself forward in the just-concluded Party Convention at which I sought to serve as National Vice Chairman, South South.

Even those who neither supported nor loved, even denigrated, I still thank you, for, by your not supporting or loving or even, by denigrating, you enriched the process from which we all benefitted.

I congratulate the party, our Party, the APC, for the successful outing as I specifically felicitate all those who emerged to serve our party in various capacities in the next dispensation.

To both the Jew and The Greek, I am a debtor (of gratitude).

I appreciate you all for your participation in the process, in one way or the other, as aforestated.

Let us all continue, with assiduity, and as God gives us the might, to work towards building a party that will serve us all well, and serve Nigerians better.

In particular, we must cooperate with the New Party Executives led by His Excellency, Abdulahi Adamu, for the well-known greater task ahead. That cooperation is in our very best interest for,

It is still morning, yet, on Creation Day.

I wish all interesting times ahead”.
