APC Primary: Tinubu thanks Osinbajo for supporting Buhari

The National Leader and standard-bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has commended the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo for his support to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking during his acceptance speech at the Eagles Square, the venue of the APC Presidential primary, Tinubu said he would have been a little upset with the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan.

According to Tinubu: “I thank Osinbajo for being a good support for our president, I thank the legislature, Ahmad Lawan; I would have been a little upset because you compete with me, but I thank you for your cool-headedness in the effort to build our nation.”

Tinubu emerged as the party’s flag bearer after polling the highest to defeat other presidential aspirants like Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, Dave Umahi, among others.
