Fabeke promises better deals for Rivers South-East

Candidate of the Labour Party for Rivers South-East Senatorial District in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Dr Douglas Deeka Fabeke  has identified vocational and technical education as a major way of equipping people, especially the youths with entrepreneurial skills, at this time when there is paucity of white collar jobs

Fabeke who is also the President /CEO of Ogoni Liberation Initiative, in one of his recent posts, said he is ready to provide the youth with the best-specialized institutions capable of promoting their initiative and innovative spirit.

He said, “Creating a platform for them (youths) to develop their business and entrepreneurial skills. We must contribute towards transforming their bright ideas into successful ventures and provide advice, investment, management and marketing resources needed to bring these ventures to fruition”.

He maintained that the younger generation must not only be taught the whole spectrum of available knowledge, but they must also acquire and master practical skills and competencies by working in companies and on projects as a first step towards establishing their successful ventures.

Fabeke said he would make all these possible and also ensure that the youths are given the chance to interact with global business communities, enabling them to develop and enrich the economy if elected.

According to him, ” these are the reason and vision behind Bori Smart Industrial City. Let brighten the light from one side and take over the continent of Africa. I represent the generation of change and not a retrogressive generation. In a few days from now, we shall rescue Ogoni and Rivers South-East out of the hands of unreasonable leaders who make merchandise of our destinies”.

“Rivers South-East Senatorial district is about to experience Political Revolution that will give birth to a brand new society with hope,” he added.
