OYF begins e-registration of Ogoni professionals

The Ogoni Youth Federation (OYF) Worldwide has kicked off electronic registration of Ogoni youths.

President-General of OYF, Comrade Legborsi Yamaabana who disclosed this in a statement by Lene Kingsley Lekue, Publicity Secretary of OYF noted that Ogoni young professionals have missed numerous employment opportunities due to lack of digital database, urged youths and young professionals across Khana, Gokana, Tai and Eleme local government areas to take advantage of the innovation to enroll themselves.

 He added that the ongoing e-registration would provide a vibrant database, detailing levels of skilled and semi-skilled professionals from Ogoni and prepare them for the opportunities ahead.

Yamaabana described the e-registration as a bargaining chip that would enable OYF to easily tender details of Ogoni youths that fits into any value-delivery role expected within and outside Ogoni.

He urged companies operating in Ogoniland  to comply with local content laws.

The statement directed the youths to register visit www.ogoniyouthfederation.org/register to complete and submit the registration form.
