Rivers APC: Former AKULGA chairman dumps party

A former chairman of the Akuku-Toru local council and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Dr. Theodore Georgewill has resigned from the party.

Georgewill, an ally of the former transportation minister, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi made his resignation known in a letter he addressed to the chairman of APC ward 7 AKULGA, said his decision to quit the party is based on personal reasons.

The former party chieftain who was among the nineteen elders of the party that chose Tonye Cole as the consensus riverine candidate of the party in Rivers State.

He joins the long list of other top party faithful in the state that have left such as Dr. Dawari George, Ibim Semenitari, Golden Chioma  amongst others.
