Tambuwal Udom heads PDP presidential campaign council

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has released its 326-member 2023 Presidential Election Campaign Council list, with Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom as chairman and Governor Aminu Tambuwal as director-general.

Council members were listed in a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature.

The council has Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State as vice-chairman (North), Governor Seyi Makinde as vice-chairman (South), Liyel Imoke as deputy director-general (Operations), Adewale Oladipo as deputy director-general (Administration), Raymond Dokpesi, deputy director-general (Technical and Systems) and Okwesilieze Nwodo, deputy director-general (Research and Strategy).

The statement also stated that Adeyemi Mayegun would serve as the council’s administrative secretary.

He advised all council members to be available at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, on September 28 for the council’s inauguration.
