Wike reviews appointment of Special Assistants on Political Units from 28,000 to 50,000

As part of effort to secure victory for his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 elections, the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has reviewed the appointment of Special Assistants on Political Units from 28,000 (Twenty Eight Thousand) to 50,000 (Fifty Thousand).

Recall that Wike on Tuesday announced the appointment of 14,000 special advisers followed by another 28,000 special assistants on political units announced on Wednesday.  

The upward review of the appointment was conveyed in a statement by his special assistant, Kelvin Ebiri on Thursday.

Ebiri said the appointments takes immediate effect.
