“Remember, whenever you lift people, you are also lifted, but when you seek to keep people on the ground, you too will remain on the ground. So, we must all make it a duty to lift others so we too can stay lifted,” he said.

He said he remains steadfast on issues that concerns lifting the state.

“Nevertheless, as it concerns building a better Rivers State, we remain steadfast with our plans to engineer the economic power of all those living and doing business in Rivers state,” he stated.

He said the advisory  council will attract investors to the state.

“One of the first things will be to set up a business advisory council that would be made up of businessmen, those who are already struggling, market people, vulcanizers, bigmen and small men, all those involve in legitimate businesses here.

“We will create opportunities for you to prosper. It is when you prosper that the state prospers and the state cannot prosper when the people are poor”.
