Rivers guber: Rivers students to mobilize support for Abe

Students groups across tertiary institutions in Rivers State have promised to mobilize massively for the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Senator Magnus Abe in the forthcoming elections.

The students made the promise in Port Harcourt, after a seminar on students participation in electoral process.  

The students groups which  attended the seminar includes National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Rivers State Chapter led by Comrade Jokiel Gideon, National Union of Rivers State Students (NURSS) led by Comr. Monmon Beeate Precious and all the SUG Presidents of the seven (7) tertiary institutions in the state.

The students stated that having critically assessed all the governorship candidates in the race for the March 11 election, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe of the SDP towers above everyone else as the most student-friendly candidate.

The students  vowed to bid to mobilize students in Rivers State to vote massively for Abe as they believe that his administration as governor would improve education and better the lots of the students in the state.

Addressing the students, Senator Abe urged them to stand their grounds to vote in a government that would bring a total change and better the lots students and the education system.
