NCSU to partner RSG on people oriented projects, policies

Rivers State Council of the Nigeria Civil Service Union has  extolled the governor of the state, Sir Siminialayi Fubara for putting his words to work.

Speaking to newsmen on the recently commissioned Rivers State Fuel Subsidy Palliative Buses, Comrade  Chuks Osumah, Chairman of NCSU in Rivers State said the body will mobilize its members to support and partner with the government in all people oriented  projects and policies.

According to Comrade Osumah, the seventeen luxurious buses will employ over twenty five workers which includes drivers, conductors and also mechanics.

He said, the gesture would also help civil servants, business men/women and other residents of the state including students to save their money as it is free for everybody.

The labour leader recalled that the governor had made the promise when the Nigerian Labour  Congress in Rivers State paid him a courtesy visit and without delay, implementation same.

Osumah said the action by Fubara has proven that he is seriously concerned about the welfare of the workforce in the state as his primary constituency.

“Sir, we as a union are indeed, very grateful to you and I repeat, we are ready to partner with you,” he stated.
