Abe condoles SP Angbashim’s family, CP Nwonyi

Former representative of Rivers South-East Senatorial District at the 7th & 8th National Assembly, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, has condoled the family of SP Bako Angbashim over the death of their son and husband and the  Commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwonyi for the gruesome murder  of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), SP Bako Angbashim of Ahoada Division in Rivers State.

Abe, in a statement signed by his spokesperson Parry Saroh Benson, described the death of the gallant Police Officer who was on a mission to combat crime in the state as ‘saddening’ at a time when committed men like the deceased have become a scarce commodity.

The Senator said: “The gruesome  murder and decapitation of SP Bako Angbashim whose exploits in the fight against crime and criminality in the Bori Division gave the people a sigh of relief should be and  must be condemned by all Rivers people and perpetrators of the heinous crime be brought to justice.

“I am deeply saddened and will like to extend my deepest condolences to the family of SP Bako Angbashim and urge CP Emeka Nwonyi  to leave no stone unturned until justice is done”.

He prayed God to grant the family, entire Police force, and Rivers state command the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
