The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, CP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has decorated some senior Police Officers of the command who were recently promoted by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
CP Disu while decorating the officers, thanked the Police Service Commission (PSC) for the timely release of their promotions after recommendations by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Olukayode Egbetokun.
He further expressed deepest gratitude to the IGP for giving him the honour of decorating the newly promoted officers.
The Commissioner of Police congratulated the officers, charged them to see their promotion as a call to task, and prayed God to guide them in the task ahead.
Astatement by the spokesperson of the command,
SP. Grace Iringe-Koko showed that the officers promoted in the Command includes 6 officers promoted from CSP -AC, 9 promoted from SP to CSP and 45 promoted from ASP to DSP
