Yamaabana hails court over refusal to stop Fubara from spending Rivers money

President-General of Ogoni Youth Federation (OYF),  Dr. Legborsi Yamaabana, has applauded Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court Abuja,  for refusing to grant the order seeking to stop Governor Siminalayi Fubara from spending Rivers State funds.

Yamaabana, who is also the Chairman of Rivers State Ethnic Youth Leaders Coalition, RSEYLC, stated that the intention of the suit instituted by Martin Amaewhule was to ground governance in Rivers State, describing his action as an orchestration from the pit of hell.

The Ogoni youths leader who stated this in reaction to the decision of the court, expressed dismay at what he described as inhumane political practices by the Amaewhule-led led group. He condemned  those attempting to disrupt the governance of Rivers State while emphasizing the importance of maintaining stability and progress within the state.

Yamaabana further highlighted the achievements of Governor Fubara’s administration, noting that the continued support of the people is crucial for ongoing developmental projects to be completed and  praised the governor for his dedication to the welfare of Rivers State, urging  the citizens to stand firm against the opposition’s tactics.

He encouraged  Rivers people not to be deterred by the antics of the opposition, whom he described as the true enemies of Rivers State, and urged them to continue their support for the governor, assuring the citizens that their resilience and unity would ensure the continued progress and prosperity of the state.
