Rivers election: Omokri mocks Amaechi over defeat in own Ikwerre

Reno Omokri, a former aide to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has mocked Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi after Governor Nyesom Wike defeated him in his local government area in the ongoing collation  Rivers governorship election results .

As results are being announced at the collation centre in Port Harcourt, in Ikwerre LGA where Rotimi Amaechi hails from, the PDP polled 14,938 while the AAC got a paltry 5,660.

The Rivers election is between Nyesom Wike, incumbent governor and candidate of the PDP and the AAC candidate, Awara Biokpomabo backed by Amaechi and his faction of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the state.

Reacting to the result, Omokri on his tweeter page described the result as ‘humiliating experience’

According to him, Rivers election has confirmed Amaechi’s position in the state.

“What a humiliating experience for Chibuike Amaechi defeated in his LGA!

He wrote: “The Rivers election confirm once and for all that no matter the amount of protein a lizard eats, it can never be a crocodile.

“Federal might can’t transform potbelly to pregnancy. Lizard of Ubima.”
