The death of ones’ loved one always elicit mourning, but this was not the case with Mr. Julius Emmanuel, from Akwa Ibom as he seems to be feeling a sigh of relief over the death of his 78 year old grandmother.
Julius Emmanuel, a Thailand/Cameroun based Nigerian businessman said he is now a free man following the demise of his grandmother, whom he said stood as a stumbling block to him and prevented him from getting his own family as a full grown man through diabolical means.
Our correspondent reports that Julius testified during a church service at Christ the Life Bible International Church, in Omuanwa community in Ikwerre local government area of Rivers State that his grandmother “spiritually” got married to him while he was 20 years old.
According to him, despite controlling wealth, at 47, he could not get a wife for himself let alone bearing children.
He said, any woman he approaches will accept to marry him but after introducing her to his grandmother, the woman will stop taking his calls.
Julius who lives with his grandmother in Cameroun told the congregation that after he returned to his Cameroun residence from a feet-washing program in the church, his grandmother started acting bizarre, confessing to be the reason behind his predicaments.
According to him, his grandmother confessed that she married him “spiritually” while he was 20 years old and that as long as she lives, he will never get married to any woman.
His words, “I am here to testify how God delivered me from the hands of my grandmother whom I thought wishes the best for me.
“My mother died when I was six months old, I was nurtured by my grandmother who through her breast milk I fed.
“At 47, I have neither wife nor children and it has been one of my greatest challenges in life as a man. Any woman I approach will accept to marry me but after introducing her to my grandmother, she will no longer pick my calls.
This has been the case till I called my pastor friend and the General Overseer of Christ the Life Bible International Church, Prophet E.S. Okenna who instructed me to leave Cameroun for Nigeria to join the feet-washing program in his church. I obeyed and came for the programme.
“After Papa finished washing my feet during the programme, I travelled back to Cameroun. On entering my compound, my grandmother was coming to welcome me but stopped. When I asked why she stopped, she said I returned home with a strange power on my feet.
I ignored her and went inside. She came to me and started behaving abnormal, calling me ‘Baby’, I asked what she meant, she said am her husband. That she married me spiritually 27 years ago. And that I can never marry any other woman as long as she lives”, he said.
According to Emmanuel, his grandmother, after confessing her atrocities tore her clothes and ran outside but was not allowed to go to the streets.
He said his grandmother died hours after confessing that he killed his mother.
