Vigilante arrests man while raping teenager

Operatives of a vigilante group in Mile 3 axis of Diobu, Port Harcourt have arrested a young man said to be in his 20s for raping a teenager.

The alleged rapist was caught in the middle of the act at an uncompleted building along Elechi Street at about 12:30 pm on Wednesday.

Godstime Ihunwo, the Chief Security Officer of the vigilante in the area said some residents in the area noticed some young men dragging the teenager into the uncompleted building and alerted them.

He said he mobilized his men and stormed the premises where they caught the suspect in the middle of the act, adding that the suspect has been handed over to the Mile 3 police division.
