FG alerts of fake youth investment website

The Federal  Ministry of Youth and Sports Development says the link: https://nyif–edi.mystrikingly.com currently being circulated on the social media is fake.

Press Director in the ministry, Lere-Adams Adjobome, raised the alarm in a statement on Thursday.

The spokesperson clarified that the application and entrepreneurship development training for the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) is free.

Adjobome advised prospective participants to log on to: https://nmfb.com.ng/nigeria-youth-investment-fund.

She said after the application on the NFMB Portal, eligible applicants would be invited for training by an approved Enterprise Development Institute (EDI).

The official warned applicants not to disclose their Bank Verification Number (BVN) and other personal information to anyone.

Adjobome added that BVN was not required for one to access the entrepreneurship training.

“Do not access unsecure and fraudulent application portals: Apply on : https://nmfb.com.ng/nigeria-youth-investment-fund. Do not disclose your BVN and other personal information”, she noted.
