Wike dissolves board of Cassava Processing Company

Barely two weeks after the Rivers State Cassava Processing Factory was commissioned, the state governor, Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has sacked the board of the factory.

The sack takes immediate effect according to a statement by Scretary to the State Government, SSG, Dr. Tammy Danagogo

The statement reads in part: “His Excellency, Barr yesom Wike, Governor of Rivers State, has approved the dissolution of the Board of the Rivers State Cassava Processing Company.

The dissolution takes immediate effect”.

The cassava processing plant is expected to provide job for over 3000 Rivers people when fully operational.
